This notice explains what personal information Fylde Coast Rubbish Removals collects through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address if you add one, postcode, a description of what needs removing, any photos you upload and any message. We also record the date, the page you sent the form from and your IP address, to help us stop spam.

Why we use it

We use your details to give you a price, arrange and carry out the job, and keep records we’re legally required to keep as a waste carrier. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legal obligations.

Who sees it

Your details go to the owner of the business. We don’t sell your information or use it for marketing. Our website host stores the data on our behalf. If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that don’t go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed jobs, including waste transfer notes, are kept for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Call 07754 572429 or send us a message. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
